Received mine today and wow is it ever beautiful. I already have a GS mini, which made me hesitant at first to buy a parlor sized guitar, but I am so happy with this Rialto. I have never played a more comfortable guitar. And as an added plus, it is made in Canada, with Canadian wood. Can’t beat that!

  2. Review by LAW

The Godin Rialto Laguna Blue HG Q-Discrete Ltd is more than just an instrument—it’s become a key part of my creative process. The parlor size is perfect for the kind of intimate, emotionally resonant playing I lean into, but it still holds its own when I push the dynamics.

The Laguna Blue high-gloss finish is unreal—it catches the light in a way that turns heads on stage, and adds a touch of personality that really aligns with my vibe. Tonally, the Sitka spruce top and Canadian wild cherry back/sides give it a warm, clear voice that suits everything from delicate fingerstyle to punchy rhythm work.

What really sets it apart for me is the Q-Discrete system. The sound it puts out when amplified is beautifully natural, and the onboard tone/volume controls are super intuitive—I can make adjustments mid-song without even thinking about it.

This guitar feels like it was made for artists who want style and substance. It’s become my go-to whether I’m recording, writing, or playing live.
